Steve and Carolyn Clarke Wedding

Hello, Wedding Guest!
Thank you for your choice to make a "wedding gift" in the form of a donation to the child development work of Compassion Canada.
Carolyn and Steve excited to invite you into this opportunity to meet the needs of children and families living in poverty around the world.
Right now, our world is hungry and in crisis. We are facing unprecedented levels of poverty and hunger, including a global food crisis brought on by the collision of war, inflation, extreme weather and the ongoing effects from the COVID-19 pandemic. As usual, children living in poverty are the most vulnerable.
Pew Research estimates that the number of global poor rose to 803 million in 2020, much greater than the 672 million initially expected.
These are heartbreaking numbers. But we know we can do something to respond.
Raising funds for Compassion Canada’s programs around the world gives people like you and me the opportunity to respond. Everything Compassion does is driven by local churches. Together, we are meeting real needs in partnership with local leaders who know and love the kids and families in their communities.
Carolyn and Steve, through our guests' generous wedding gift donations, are raising funds for Compassion's Health and Wellness initiatives! This includes gifts such as mosquito nets, dental kits, food for malnourished children and hygiene kits. These gifts can mean a matter of life and death for children and their families as they face multifaceted crises and build resiliency for the future.
In celebrating their marriage, will you please join Steve and Carolyn, in giving generously to meet the needs of children and families living in poverty?
