I’m excited to invite you into this opportunity to join me in meeting the needs of children and families living in poverty around the world.

 

Right now, our world is hungry and in crisis. We are facing unprecedented levels of poverty and hunger, including a global food crisis brought on by the collision of war, inflation, extreme weather and the ongoing effects of the pandemic. As usual, children living in poverty are the most vulnerable.

 

 

These are heartbreaking numbers. But I know we can do something to respond.

 

Raising funds for Compassion Canada’s programs around the world gives people like you and me the opportunity to respond. Everything Compassion does is driven by local churches. Together, we are meeting real needs in partnership with local leaders who know and love the kids and families in their communities.

 

I am raising funds for Compassion's urgent response to the global food crisis. The global food crisis is the worst hunger emergency the world has seen in decades. For those who are living in extreme poverty, the crisis is pushing them to the brink of starvation. When you give, we will fill hungry bellies through meals and food packs, combat malnutrition through intentional care and provide the resources families need to start a backyard farm as a sustainable and ongoing source of food.
