Hi friends & family,
This Christmas season, I'm looking to help bring much-needed relief to children and families living in poverty who have been impacted by COVID-19. And I'd like to invite you along in the journey :)
God has really opened my eyes to see that there are so many vulnerable populations around the world that have been stripped from daily essentials to survive. And here I am in Toronto, living in abundance, only by God’s grace that I don’t deserve. But God has called me to give and care for those who may not have the means to survive. Would you join me in supporting families in developing countries through Compassion?
Together with your support, I am partnering with Compassion to equip the local church across the globe to provide immediate relief to the most vulnerable communities among us. Through the COVID-19 relief gifts featured in the Gifts of Compassion gift guide, Compassion is seeking to help restore what COVID-19 has destroyed through urgent provision of critical needs like:
- Emergency Food Packs - Provides families with food packs that include essentials like rice, oils, oats, milk, corn and meat every day for two months.
- Hygiene Kits - Provides families with items to keep them healthy like face masks, gloves, soap, disinfectant, cleaning products and sanitary items for women.
- Rent Assistance - Helps cover rent for those who cannot otherwise stay in their homes because of loss of work.
- Home Reconstruction - Helps reconstruct and furnish a three-bedroom home for a family who has lost theirs in the midst of a global pandemic.
