Hey,

 

My name is Emily, and this year, for my 14th birthday, I'm fundraising with Compassion to help provide education and training for children in poverty around the world.

Right now, one billion children worldwide are experiencing multidimensional poverty. They live without access to education, healthcare, housing, nutrition, sanitation, water, and most importantly limited access to the gospel. They don't have much of a hope for any kind of bright future. This project, however, can help to give the children a brighter future. 

I am raising funds for Compassion's Education and Training initiatives. These gifts will provide children and youth with access to computers at their local Compassion centre and school fees. Our gifts will also enable youth living in poverty to pursue higher education that's right for them, whether that's learning a vocational skill or going to college or university.
